ABOUT
Cristin J. Lewis, MA, LPC-S,
Owner of Tree of Life Counseling Center
"We all have faced difficulties at one time or another. Challenging situations can be a great opportunity for positive change and self-awareness. As a counselor, I strive to offer empathy, compassion and a safe environment to each of my clients as they are working through their pain and walk beside them on their journey towards healing."
Cristin is especially passionate about working with individuals struggling in areas related to grief and trauma, and she also works with clients who are dealing with issues such as anger, anxiety, conflict resolution, depression, parenting, stress management and life circumstances. Cristin is trained in EMDR therapy, a form of trauma therapy, and is a member of EMDRIA. She is also a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist.
One of Cristin's greatest joys is spending time with family. She and her husband, Jonathan, have five children between them ranging in age from 20 to 27 (and two grandbabies). Cristin also loves to spend her time being outdoors, hiking and enjoying God's creation.
