My Story
My approach to counseling is person-centered, focusing on building a genuine and trusting relationship while meeting clients where they are. I believe that each individual has the capacity for growth and change, and I strive to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges at their own pace.
I have a special interest in working with teens and young adults as they navigate the pressures of school, relationships, and identity. With over 15 years of experience in education, I understand how overwhelming this stage of life can feel and aim to create a space where young people feel comfortable being themselves. I also enjoy working with women who find themselves stuck in patterns of overgiving or struggling to set healthy boundaries in relationships. Together, we can explore these patterns, build self-awareness, and work toward a stronger sense of balance and personal identity.
We might be a good fit if you are:
-
Feeling overwhelmed by expectations and unsure of who you are or where you fit
-
Constantly overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or feeling like you’re “not enough”
-
Struggling to balance school, relationships, and the pressure to have everything figured out
-
Finding yourself putting others’ needs ahead of your own, even when it leaves you feeling drained or overlooked
-
Having difficulty setting boundaries or feeling guilty when you try to prioritize yourself
-
Wanting to better understand yourself, your needs, and how to show up more authentically in your life and relationships
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, soaking up every second with my grandson, and cuddling with my bernedoodle, Doc.
