My Story
Hi,
My name is Teagan.
As a counselor I strive to use a warm, empathetic approach to create a safe space where clients can openly explore their challenges and develop meaningful strategies to navigate them. I am committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care and fostering an inclusive environment where individuals feel seen, valued, challenged and supported.
I work with ALL clients and I am especially passionate about working with:
-
Children and teens ages (8+) navigating emotions, anxiety, and life transitions. In a collaborative environment alongside parents. To build up self awareness and esteem, and strengthen coping skills. Helping them feel understood, supported and encouraged.
-
People with disabilities including autism, and their families, providing collaborative, supportive care tailored to each individual’s needs. I have had basic disability training and years of experience working with people who have intellectual and physical disabilities through various organizations across Texas.
-
Women healing from abuse, relationship challenges, and trauma, offering a compassionate and empowering space for processing experiences.
-
Church staff and those serving in ministry, helping them navigate the unique challenges of balancing personal life, and the demands of ministry, while creating space for rest, clarity, and support.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and family. I also enjoy trying new coffeeshops and creating floral arrangemens.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or think we would be a good fit.
