What To Expect
The first session is an opportunity for your therapist to get to know your child, understand your concerns, and discuss your family's goals for counseling.
Depending on your child's age and needs, sessions may include time with both the parent and child, as well as individual time with your child. Throughout the counseling process, therapists work collaboratively with parents while also respecting the child's need for a safe and confidential therapeutic relationship.
